UAV Checklist
Distributinon Board
- Attach all the required modules
- Note that 4S drones do not need the 19V buck module for NUC
- Note that 6S drones do not need the 24V boost module for Ouster
- Measure that the voltage output of all the modules is correct
- Test that the FTDI module is communicating with Pixhawk and all the MRS modules
- Cover all exposed pads/wires in insulation
ESCs
- Solder at least 470uF capacitors to ESCs if they do not have them by default
- Program the ESCs to the latest firmware version (if they are BLHeli32) and apply our ESC config
- Make sure that the motors are spinning in the correct orientation
Pixhawk
- Upload correct version of Pixhawk firmware
- Select the correct airframe
- Calibrate all the sensors
- Pair the radio transmitter and make sure that all the 8 channels used by the MRS system are working:
1. Roll
2. Throttle
3. Pitch
4. Yaw
5. Offboard switch
6. Flight mode switch
7. MRS system switch - Remote Control
8. MRS emergency switch
- Calibrate the voltage measurement in the Power tab (analog measurement only - Pixhawk 4/6C)
- Setup safety, by default RC Loss -> Land Mode, RTL settings Land immedietaly
- Make sure that Dshot is working
- Make sure that Garmin is working (if connected)
