Wiring​

Connect the Ubiquiti antenna to the PoE adapter using ethernet cable. Use the POE port on the adapter and the Main port on the antenna.

Connect the PoE adapter to your computer using ethernet cable. Use the LAN port on the adapter.

Connect the power cable to adapter.

Accessing the management GUI​

Set your IP address to the subnet 192.168.1.x (e.g. 192.168.1.30, mask 24).

Open your browser and enter 192.168.1.20 in the address bar. A login screen should appear.

Username: ubnt Password: ubnt

Uploading a stable configuration​

This is the configuration for mrs_ctu_5: mrs_ctu_5_ubiquiti_config.cfg

Navigate to System and at the bottom in Configuration Management use Upload Configuration to upload the mrs_ctu_5_ubiquiti_config.cfg. Press the Upload button and then the Apply button.

This will disconnect you. Connect to a newly created wifi mrs_ctu_5

Wifi password is mikrokopter, subnet will change to 192.168.69.x

Set your static IP address accordingly (e.g. 192.168.69.30, mask 24, gateway 192.168.69.1)

Wireless admin access is now at 192.168.69.1 username: mrs password: mikrokopter
